Deaf Ministry

Seeing the word one verse at a time

ROMANS 10:17 Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Through American Sign Language the Deaf Community can hear or “see” God’s Word and come to faith in Christ.

Our vision is…

To Present the good news of Jesus Christ to all the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Our desire is to reach out, locally, nationally, and globally, to those who have never “seen” the good news of God’s loving plan of salvation through His Son Jesus.

To Preach and Teach God’s Word to all the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Our desire is that they would “see” and understand God’s Word, so they can grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

To Provide a place to safely fellowship for all the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Our desire is to have a fellowship where the Deaf and Hard of Hearing believers in Christ can use the gifts that God has given them.

Our Deaf Bible Study is on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 at the West Campus, lead by Rick Latini, a Deaf member and is taught in

American Sign Language.

Main services that are interpreted are Sunday mornings at 9:10 at the West Campus and Wednesday evenings at 7:15at the West Campus.

Our interpreters are all active working interpreters for the Deaf who serve in the community as well as at Calvary.

In addition to the Wednesday evening, 6:00pm class, our Deaf Ministry now has a second bible study that runs Sunday mornings from 10:45- 12:00. Both classes are at West Campus and taught in ASL by Rick Latini. For more info please contact Maricella at mtsongal@gmail.com or Rick at latini24@gmail.com
